Women Of Influence Ministries
F.W.O. (For Women Only)
is a quarterly event set aside for rejoicing, encouraging and discussing issues that are important to women.

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)
is a program designed to help moms conquer the journey of motherhood, by sharing with other moms. Free childcare is provided.

A.R.I.S.E. Entrepreneur Program
(To Actively Raise and Inspire People to Successfully Build Businesses with Excellence) is a program designed to help individuals become successful entrepreneurs. The program features a 6-week training course in which participants learn how to start a new business or grow an existing business. The program concludes with a Business Expo & Career Fair, which provides a platform for the official launch of the new A.R.I.S.E. businesses.

The Village
is a teen pregnancy program that provides pregnant and parenting teens with the practical skills, resources, and information needed to maintain a healthy and productive lifestyle for themselves and for their children. The program encourages these teens to lead a Christian lifestyle, while also addressing issues related to childbirth. The Village meets weekly on Sundays at 8:00 a.m. at the House of Hope.

The "Lite" Club
promotes health and fitness among the women of Salem, and introduces the value of exercise, healthy eating, and weight management. Participants receive a year long membership, including fitness club discounts, weekly walking groups, and quarterly group activities.

"Vessels of Honor"
Widows Ministry is designed to provide ongoing support and encouragement to the widows of Salem. Activities include quarterly networking, educational, and support opportunities for the widows of Salem.

NEON
(kNeel, Encourage, Orient, Next) is community outreach program designed to encourage female teens, offer hope and prayer. One Friday in June, July, and August, Salem NEON volunteers will hit the streets of Roseland. Each NEON will connect with a teen, offer prayer for 6 weeks, and share a gift. At the end of 6 weeks, we will host a celebration with the teens.

"TWO CAUSES, ONE WALK" WALKATHON
supports solutions for breast cancer, HIV/AIDS, and domestic violence. These silent killers are devouring our people, especially women. Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death among African American women, exceeded only by lung cancer. HIV is the leading cause of death for black women aged 25-34 years. 50% of female homicides and manslaughters are victims of Domestic Violence. In three years, we have raised more than $130,000 to offer greater support to agencies that are at the forefront of the fight against these three deadly diseases.
