The Salem Baptist Church's Sunday School
had its origin along with the inception
of the church in January of 1985. In our
humble beginning, we started with 7 teachers
and 65 students. As we grew in obedience
to the Word, we began to experience a
tremendous blessing in teaching the scriptures
to God's people. As a result of His favor,
we now have the largest Sunday School
in the Chicagoland area including classes
for singles, married couples, women, men,
church ministries, topical studies, and
on the internet. We have never lost sight
of our mission as a ministry and disciples
of Jesus Christ. We are called to reach,
teach, win, train, and develop God's people.
Our Teachers' Training Program have blessed
us with many called and talented teachers
and workers. The Christian Education teachers
are individually challenged to give God
their best and to teach His Word using
sound doctrine as taught by the Bible
and our dynamic pastor. We celebrate the
Lord as He continues to give our Sunday
School favor. Be blessed as you study
God's Word in many different classes.
Luke 2:52 teaches us that Jesus grew in
wisdom, statue, and in favor with God
and man. We must do likewise.
