Sunday school teacher

the Teachers: Teacher, Pastor/Shepherd,
Administration, Mercy, and Prophecy
TRAINING:
II TIMOTHY 2:2
•To provide trained workers for each
level in the Christian Education Ministry
•To continue to increase the level of quality teaching
•To help potential teachers feel confident in their calling
•To give God our best
•To fulfill the command of God
•To prepare for growth and development
•To enhance one's teaching gift
•To give potential teachers our best
that they may give their best
The training is 13-weeks with an additional 6-month internship in the area of their calling (Adults, Youth, Children, or New Members).
There is a graduation ceremony with potential teachers wearing a cap and gown. Teachers will be placed in a class along with a tenure teacher.
In addition, every teacher is required
to attend conferences, seminars, and venues
to enhance their skills and techniques.
This requirement is essential to the ministry to provide our students
with the latest advancements of Christian
Education, as well as continued personal development.
OUTREACH:
MATTHEW 25-35 The Outreach Component of
the Christian Education Ministry is designed
to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus
Christ. Therefore each class is designed
to plan and implement an outreach project
each quarter. Somact:

teaching at senior homes, serving at nursing
homes, giving supplies and clothing to
shelters, giving donations to the food
bank, feeding the homeless, soul winning,
or visiting the sick and shut-in members.
TEAM LEADERS:
EXODUS 18:21-22 The team leader is an
armor bearer for the ministry's teachers
and their designated class. Their role
as armor bearer is to take responsibility
from the teacher by tracking attendance,
collecting the offering and providing
assistance for the teacher as needed.
A team leader is assigned to each adult
class to assist the teacher. The teacher
is only to teach the Word of God. He/she
is never to distribute papers and materials
or collect monies.
